leaving las filipinas

So another member of our group has fled 'pinas for the US, this time its Bel.
Anyone whose ever known her would comment on her strong personality and witty comebacks that are almost legendary in her old office.

She'd been planning to leave for the US but it was for next year but a job offer changed that and she's crossing the pond. It's all very sudden and surprising.

For me, it seems like I've lost my constant booksale/bookstore companion.

Marie's also out of the country so that's two bestfriends I have abroad.

*sigh*

Last night there was a little get together, and it was so fun hearing the stories about Bel's childhood and all the mishaps we've suffered in school then on to morning (we slept over) where we went to Alabang Town Center and she treated us (Amanda and I) for one last time at Gerry's grill.

Another great thing about Bel is she knows the best restaurants and menus... sigh, talaga.

So long, Bel! I hope the job pans out and your dreams come true!
You will be missed!
